In an effort to implement the 2006 Conference Resolution, the Administration has undertaken some
projects to cater to the needs of the Gborho area. The Administration received several requests
from the Gborho Consolidated School System, and the Gborho Health Center to provide immediate relief.
The leadership reviewed and prioritized three projects based on relevance and need for the area.
- The Administration purchased eleven bundles of zinc and 6 packs of nails to replace the
leaking roof on the Gborho Health Center in Zaitown.
- The Administration purchased a building plan (blue print) from the Ministry of Public Works
in Monrovia that will be used to construct a market building in Zaitown that is currently
serving as a central market for the Gborho area. The construction is a self-help project
with the assistance of the Liberia Marketing Association which has already provided
block making machine.
- Ahmuyan's three Chapters: New England, Mid-Atlantic and Midwestern have
initiated a drive to collect instructional materials for distribution among
the seven schools of the Gborho Consolidated School System. Scheduled shipment
for these materials is early April, 2007.
